Les nelze nemilovat. Ač oprávněně vzbuzuje jistou bázeň, naplňuje nás přirozeným klidem, harmonií, pocitem odvěkého řádu i sounáležitosti. Starý les je již téměř mysterium - symbol věčnosti. Takto ho můžeme spatřit na fotografiích Vladimíra Bichlera, který se s pokorou a neutuchající fascinací již řadu let vydává na Lomňansko (Horní a Dolní Lomná) v Moravskoslezských Beskydech.
