Anotace

Theodor Pištěk není jen proslulým filmovým výtvarníkem, který za svou práci obdržel ta nejvýznamnější ocenění jako např. Oscara či Césara. Patří též mezi nejzajímavější české malíře - hyperrealisty. Tvorba, kterou představil na své poslední velké výstavě v Galerii hlavního města Prahy, má podobný charakter, přestože nyní mnohem více pracuje s jazykem geometrie. Vedle obrazů, v nichž si pohrává s prostorem a jeho iluzí, zde vytvořil jejich trojrozměrné analogie - několik fascinujících instalací. Katalog, uvedený textem Jiřího Šetlíka, obsahuje jak reprodukce zmíněných obrazů, tak i počítačové studie, které byly podkladem pro vznik instalací.

Theodor Pištěk is not only a famous art director who has been awarded the most important prizes as e.g. the Oscar or Caesar for his work. He also ranks among the most interesting Czech painters - the hyperrealists. The production he presented at his last big exhibition in the Gallery of the City of Prague (Galerie hlavního města Prahy) is of a similar character although now he much more works with the language of geometry. Besides the pictures in which he plays with space and the illusion of it he created here three-dimensional analogies of these pictures in the form of several fascinating installations. The catalogue introduced with the text written by Jiří Šetlík includes both the reproductions of the above mentioned pictures and the computer studies on which creation of the installations was based.

Theodor Pištìk ist nicht nur ein berühmter Filmbildner, der für seine Schöpfung die bedeudendsten Weltpreise wie z. B. Oscar oder Cesar gewann. Er gehört auch zu den interessantesten tschechischen Malern - den Hyperrealisten. Die Schöpfung, die auf der letzten großen Ausstellung in der Galerie der Hauptstadt Prag vorgestellt wurde, kann zu diesem Zweig gezählt werden, obwohl sie viel mehr mit der Geometrie arbeitet. Außer den Bildern, die den Raum und die Illusion des Raums zum Thema haben, schuf der Autor ihre dreidimensionale Analogien in der Form faszinierender Installationen. Der Katalog mit dem Text von Jiří Šetlík enthält sowohl Reproduktionen der Bilder, als auch die Computerstudien, die als Vorlagen der Installationen dienten.
